escapista – biography:
Separated from birth, escapista lives since two years out of photography, following a crooked path where nothing is linear.
Bewitched by perception, loneliness and abandonment, he’s clicks bring him in a perceptive context of lonely crawling, where there’s not the photographer who chooses his subjects, but the last ones are the ones who pull him from the jacket. In case he wears one…
In February 2007 he participates with one of his pictures to the collective "We are all photographers" in the Musée de l'Elysée of Lausanne, Switzerland.
April sees his first collaboration with INTERVALLO, on the FUORISALONE of Milan, with the installation titled “Jowlers”.
In June, one of his pictures is used as image for the forum “Continental Breakfast” in the BIENNALE of Venice.
In September he founds place on board of “Floating Territory” again in the BIENNALE of Venice, with an installation dedicated to his “Groovy People”.
December sees his participation at the “Collettiva n°3 - Troppe cose da ricordare" in the 400ArtGallery of Milan and one of his pictures is selected for the “I° Premio Asegur-arte 2007” and exposed in the museum MUVIM of Valencia, Spain.
In 2008, his work has been published in the 10th issue of Brazilian magazine “IDEAFIXA” and on the 12th of Turkish "BAKMAGAZINE".
The 12th of April will se his solo exhibition titled “One night stand” at the GALLERIA TOMMASEO gallery in Trieste, Italy, and on the 4th of May, he will participate at the Italian SLIDELUCK POTSHOW exhibit in Milan.
From the 7th of june 'till the 27th of september part of his work will be shown at the SPAC Buttrio in the collective exhibition called "Anteprima FVG".
You can see one of his pictures in the 28th Humble Art Foundation's "Group Show".
From the 18th 'till the 20th of july he will be in Trieste, Italy, as part of this year's edition of ITS#PHOTO.
He’s very proud of one of his pictures selected as cover of UTATA and of some other selected by FILE magazine, but he really doesn’t know why…
